Instruments and dials

Has anyone on here replaced their instruments and dials?

If so what did you do and was it pricey? I've seen some S2's with Smiths dials and they look excellent.

Any tips?

I rather like the originals with thier TVR logo's and the way they are "up side down"

There was a thread on here a while back, someone had fitted some very fancy gauges bought from America (IIRC) or how about Chimaera gauges ? can an 8 cyl rev counter be altered to "talk" to a 6 cyl engine ?
