To be honest, under 1K is going to be near impossible. I pay £1.5K ish, parked on the street in Newcastle. It would cost me round about £1100 if I moved back home to Surrey, where it is parked in a locked garage in a good postcode. I am also on limited mileage. 22yrs old 5 years NCB.

well in theory you should take the insurance price for Wildfire, and then take the insurance price from BattyMattyS4cattydatty and then take the mid point since they are ages 23 and 19.
I was insuring an S3 at 23 and it was about £1100 IIRC. Age will be a factor, but I would estimate Wildfires quote is on the high side cos of where he lives

Ain't nothing wrong with Pikey Newcastle!!
No, like I said it's about £500 less if I move back to Surrey with my parents. So I come out at around £1K for Fully Comp on my S3. I reckon that if you've got a good postcode you could be looking at around £1500 or so. Tescos like NCB. The fact that you have only 2 years NCB will count against you.
I'm not sure how much BattyS4C pays for his car, but it's got to be quite a fair whack, 19 and only 1 years NCB.
If you do find cheap cover let me know! I have renewal this year.
P.s I'm still only 22.

You never know until you try. Give them all a call (or apply on-line), you never know.Applying logic to insurance quotes is not wise.
It'd also be worth asking if you'd get a discount if you take any kind of performance driving tuition, which would also give the added benefit of being able to enjoy/exploit the TVR more when you do get it.
There is a way to get 3rd Party cover for the TVR quite cheaply if needs be.
Buy an old Fiesta 1.0 (or whatever..?) for £30 from the paper. Insure it Fully comprehensive.
Buy TVR S, and register it in your mother/father/trustworthy persons name and let them drive it on a fairly regular basis.
Drive the TVR yourself on the 3rd Party extension cover part of the Fully comp policy on the Fiesta.
Cheers,
Matt.
please note I can not guarantee how legitamate this is, don't blame me etc etc, read the policy smallprint.

I have 2 fully comp policies with 5 years NCB.
