Which wheels and tyres on a V8S - max size

Hi. I think about other Wheels on my V8S.
Maybe 16" with more tyre wide especially on the back axle.

Does anybody knows the max tyre wide that can be fit on a V8S?

Now I have the slotted OZ. On the front with 205/55/15 and on the back with 215/50/15.
But on the Backside I wan't a little bit more tyre wide.

You know what i mean? - like the Chimaeras.

Can I fit original Chimaera Wheels (Rims and Tyres) on a V8S?
Will that cause me problems. Problems with the fender edge or the inner wheel wall?

What wheels do you have on your V8S / S4.
Which size, offset, and Tyres?

Hope someone has the straight tip for me.

On my V8S I had 205/60/15 on the fronts and 245/45/16 on the back using the Chim wheels, the handling and grip was much improved over the original 205 rears. Going much bigger will affect the handling characteristics which is one of the key areas we all love about the S.

I have seen 17" wheels on an S but not sure it would handle OK... I did try 16" on the fronts and it didn't feel good.

I put 17" Alloys on my s2 with 215 45 17 the ride is not much harder and the handling is still very good Brand new with Avon tyres £645.00 from Rochford tyres

No they went on with no adjustment needed.
