Rear view mirror sticky pads

Hi again,

In the hot weather my rear view mirror seems to prefer resting on the transmission tunnel instead of remaining attached to the windscreen. Please could someone let me know where I can get a replacement black sticky pad to attach it back onto the screen.

Scrounged a few off the Autoglass chap while he was doing a screen at work, pm me your address and I'll pop a couple in the post.

Make sure the glass is clean (meths or similar) and that the glass, mirror and pad are warm (hairdryer when she's gone out ) or it will fall off again. It never stays on if stuck on cold.

Also add a small drop of oil/grease to the ball socket part of the mirror, it take the stress away from the sticky pad when altering the mirror.
