It has gone in for a respray today, and will be fully re-trimmed including funky green leather gaiter and chrome knobs by the end of the week.

I will put up pics as soon as the beutification is complete.

In the meantime - two questions: Anybody want to recommend a pair of new speakers that fit? And why has no-one got any suggestions for my buzzy gearstick thread?

Get 6" or 6.5" Full Range. put in. A decent make. Infinity, MB Quart, Pheonix Gold, Rockford Fosgate or Helix.

If you are going to amp, go components.

How much is the respray costing? I need to get the nose and bonnet done on the Griff soon.

I had 6.5” infinity speakers in the S that were very good.

Check it’s not your gear knob, often the plastic bit on top buzzes, replacing mine stopped it.

Full body respray quote was appx. £1500, quote for nose and bonnet was £250 - quite a difference.

That’s a bit of a trek, I know of a good body shop reasonably local to me but not sure what they are like with fibreglass.
