Well, I've managed to re-arrange the dates away from Le Mans just for Longers!!! (in reality the runway ceased to be available on the previous dates due to a military requirement) the new dates for your diary are 24, 25 and 26 June 11. More details in January but book the time.

Great news - can now do SCH2011 and Le Mans

hi guys,

I'm kinda new here (4 months or so) and have only managed to meet Norm and Tinks.

Just wondered if there's any special requirements for attending this event and if there are any more threads about what happens at this event?

I'd search the old threads but im on holiday and only have the mobile phone version of PH.

Karl,

If you are a member of the TVRCC then the centre spread in Sprint from September will tell you all. From PH though you'll need a laptop as the threads are heavy on pictures so a mobile just won't cut it.

But this years highlights were:

Saturday:
2 hours doing 1/4 mile sprints on DCAE Cosford's runway
BBQ in the evening with camping at Weston Park stately home
Sunday:
Show at the Cosford air museum
Hoon
Raffle
Prizes for "best of"

Next years will be similar but I have a whole airfield for the Saturday to set up as we wish - locations etc will be revealed in January
