Waxoyl

Out of curiosity when people talk on here (and other TVR forums) of using Waxoyl on outside of the chassis is this a different (underseal type?) product rather than the runny, gooey stuff I know as Waxoyl that is intended for pumping into sills and various box sections on conventional, all metal, cars and I have used inside my outriggers ?

Same stuff,at least i think it is, hence my rant in another post, Bodyoff total refurb/repaint chassis, why cover in waxoyl! Just my opinion.

been told ACF 50 is great stuff,not used but going to give it a try

waxoil do a underseal product which is a paint containing the wax, would be better for this I reckon than the wax alone. I've used it in the past, goes on pretty easily and does the job.
