S facelift part one
Discussion
Made a great start this weekend ...
New rear lights are fantastic - I am so pleased with them the photo's just don't do them justice.
The side repeaters blend in so well they almost take on the colour of the car.
New bulbs in the headlamps are incredible - I just don't know how I managed to see with such dim lights before.
Here are the pictures ...
Many Thanks to Shnozz for all your hard work.
S facelift part deux to follow later ... waiting for the tinting spray and the replacement indicator and new plates to finish the front.
24 months on here and I still can't get pictures to work first time

Looking good Claire...and the car looks quite nice too...lol.
I have been busy prettifying my S2 - pics will be on their way to Pies very shortly - but would like to learn more about the smoked rear lights and repeaters.
Forgive me for being a complete ignoramus on this - but is the effect achieved by fitting a film to the lights?

the lights are bought from nomad racing. I had some on my old S but the ones they sell now are actually better as the indicator lense has an inside orange cover so all the original bulbs can be used. The ones I bought from them 18 months or so ago used orange bulbs which was a pain having to carry a seperate orange spare around with you as well as the clear bulbs.
the side repeaters are also from nomad racing. They dont fit exactly so need adapting using the tried and tested technique know as bodging - wrapping ino tape around them until its a good tight fit.
the front indicators have to be done using tinting spray since no one sells aftermarket performance parts for a sherpa van
After market performance parts for a Sherpa Van eh? Now there's an untapped market. How about flip paint on a Transit, or Supercharging an old Bedford? Come to think of it I'm sure an old ex-BT Escort Van would look great with blacked out windows and a couple of grands worth of alloys.
I did once see a Cortina Estate someone had spent 20k on. Suprising the effect a lobotomy can have on some people.
I must post a link to this thread on the Max Power discussion forums. I know they'll thank me.
