I replaced a couple of light bulbs in the speedo last night. Noticed that the clock was also not lit up. It was too late in the evening and I was too lazy to look if there is a light bulb also in the clock.
Does anyone know? I have the dash layout with the clock placed between the speedo and the rev counter, above the steering column.

Johan - can confirm that the clock has its own lightbulb. At least it has on my car. But then, being a TVR...

Thanks John!
Well, then I'll do some more crawling in the footwell tonight and try to get that bulb replaced.

Johan, my V8S - same dash layout - has a lamp in the clock.
Access is improved if you remove sterring column covers, let go the shaft tunnel cover screws and then remove the dash brackets attaching same to the A post.

These 'moves' allow you to tip the dash forward - with the wiring still connected!!! allowing more room for your hands to grovel behind the instruments

Thanks for the tip!
I had an idea of getting to it from underneath if it is possible to remove the air duct passing behind the clock. But I guess it might still be easier to follow your method. I'd rather do that than to mess up something else with the wiring while grovelling about.

I spent a few minutes in the footwell last night and it proved to be virtually impossible to replace the bulb without removing the dash according to instructions previuosly in this thread. Will look into it later.

Also from my nice relaxing position in the footwell I could not see a bulb holder of the type used in the other instruments.
