S1 - S3 Radiators - are they all the same?

Can anyone tell me whether a Radiator made for an S2/S3 will fit my S1?
Are they the same?
Does 2.8 or 2.9 engine make any difference?

I believe the S1/S2 radiator has slightly different fixings to S3/S4/V8S but I don't think it is a show stopper with a bit of adjustment.

I seem to think there was a thread on this somewhere with photos - I'll see if I can find it.

The pic in there is of my old rad - look at the top fixings I think that is where the difference is.

As Chris says the difference is in the fixing points.

I know that a radiator from an S3 didn't fit my S2. I'm not sure what one from an S1 looks like.
If you are thinking of changing yours I would recomend that you get your existing one recored.

Those are the people who recored mine. Very helpful and reasonable.
They sent out that rad but it didn't fit my S2 due to slightly different fixing points.

All was sorted out via courier.

I would recomend that you give them a call

Erm... no.

S Series has same engine but not the same radiator. The stubs are the wrong way round for a start.
