I went into the local Leyland Daf dealer yesterday to buy one - they looked at me as if I was mad - why would anybody want to double the value of a 20-year old Sherpa by screwing a new indicator on to it?

Anyway after much searching they finally found the part number I gave them in the first place. The indicator unit itself is now discontinued (not many 20-year old sherpas left!) but the lens (part no BAU 2249) can be ordered - mine arrives tomorrow.

autofast - give him a call, he'll ask you to send him a cheque (about 7 quid when i did it 2 months ago) then post one to you

dead easy job

p.s. i was a muppet when i got mine - tried to split the lense from the casing on the old one - it's deliberately all one unit !!! glued together - i found out after breaking the old one !!! bulb and mounting 'twist' out of old casing and back in to new one
