Mmmm ? this is being "discussed" on Chim Forum, is Castrol good oil ?

Personnally I'd say plenty good enough for an old Ford or Rover lump but maybe want something bit more hi-tech in a Speed Six ?

a little off topic but was reading today Castrol Veedol and Duckhams brands are all owned by BP.

As you say, plenty good enough for a 20+ year old design of engine IMHO, but this is one of those topics that can just go on and on and on and on and on.
