Hi,

Sorry if this post is in the wrong area, but I am trying to find an TVR S for sale in the SE of England.

I am looking for a weekend car, so it does not have to be immaculate, and I don't mind if it needs some work doing to it.

If anyone knows of one for sale, then please let me know as I may be interested.

Not wishing to give my life story but after 29 years my Wife and I are going through the painful process of divorce as I write, my house with its large double garage is now on the market and to finance my solicitors bills and the expense of moving it's quite possible I will need to sell my S2 and even my motorbike.
My S2 2.9 is no show car but it's had loads spent on it from the previous owner, including new hood, trailing arms, stainless V8 exhaust, out riggers etc etc.
I have owned the car for over 2 years and has passed both MOT's whilst in my ownership. The only bits I have spent out on are two new rear tyres to match the new fronts, new steering bush / bearing and a new oil sender unit.
She has done over 100,000 miles but drives great.
If i do sell her I would be looking for around the £2700 mark.
I'm in Surrey.

Great choice of car! does not matter much between S1, S2, or S3. they are all great cars, but like anything in this world you get what you pay for. The mechanics & chassis are more important than the bodywork, but they are so easy to work on. Allways worth looking at cars from people on the site as they are enthusiasts so more likly to have been looked after

Yeah I used to drive a 2.8i capri and loved the engine, but I just want something that won't try to kill me every time I turn a corner (something with a more sorted chassis!).
