Does anybody know if Recaro Seats out of a Sierra will fit in an S.

I have been offered a pair for £200.

They will fit, seen them in one before. However, seem to remember them looking seriousley out of proportion with the S. And the fact that the ones which I saw were velour didn't work too well either. Maybe if they are leather Recaro's it would look better

Will be having them and the rest of the interior retrimmed in Magnolia Leather / Alcantra (sp?)

Sounds like that might just do the job - i'd have a look at the seats in the car first though, just to check the proportions - if it looks ok then crack on, always good to see new ideas for interiors. Good luck!

As has been said, check them in the car. The width is the problem area. I asked Richard (of Peninsula fame) if it was possible to fit the style, one of the current aftermarket Recarros, into my then new Chimaera. They tried for ages and then gave up. I know the car and seat are different but the vital dimentions will be very similar. If you manage to get them to fit do let us know as I have long believed that the seats are one of the worst things about TVRs.

p.s. I now have a set of "Style"s in our Golf II 16v and they are "the bollocks". Worth the effort and cost if you can fit them.

In a moment of madness I alomost took the Corbeau Forza Sport 2000's out of my mini and put them in to my TVR!

I'm considering fitting seats that are suitable for Lotus 7 type vehicles as they aren't as wide as some. I haven't got to the stage of looking at dimensions yet.

So, does the S have seats that are considered to be narrow?

My seats are fine but I am having a change of body colour and would like the interior to be complimentary.

I will have a mid blue metallic paint and currently have a sort of biscuit colour seats and dash and door panels. I thought black may look better but black can show wear more.

Opinions much appreciated!
