what size exhaust?

I'm looking at designing and building a new exhaust for my S (Cossy 24v with about 220bhp)

what size is thought to be best - I am thinking 2 x 2" but is that too big and will give grounding out problems?

would you be able to use Oval tube since you are starting from scratch, that could give you a bigger bore/area and increased ground clearance

I've also been thinking about this, 2" won't make ground clearence better but at worst should add no more than 0.5 inch that said l have one particular speed hump here that catches my STD exhaust.

What design are you looking at 2 independent runs, perhaps with link pipe? X config like NASCAR or a central collector like standard TVR ?

Oh yea deffo 2 runs IMHO we need to keep or enhance the classic sound too.

What's inside the STD square box? I assume it is used to link the 2 sides?

just seen some oval tube 78 x 39mm which would give decent ground clearance and flow enough

probably reduces to 25mm dia over the rear suspension much like mine to avoid grounding out
