Some of you may have been following my engine problems, it all stemmed from the crank pulley bolt loosening and throwing the engine out of timing. Well after a top end rebuild and a bit of tarting up, new coil and dizzy cap, she runs I had 20 thou skimmed off the heads and ported out the exhaust ports and it sounds crisper and louder Many thanks to the guys who gave me the tips that helped, Mark Prince, thanks for the tester, I finally cracked it. Me and electrics aren`t normally to good I`ve a few minor bits to sort on the old gal and then I`ll be happy. Norman, thanks for your kind offer on the star tester too,

good to hear you sorted it - any clues as to what was wrong? Just pass the tester back to Colin for me and I'll get it off him when I'm back at work next week. Perhaps you could turn up for the photoshoot now!!

The car seems a lot more responsive now with a much better pick up, had a round the block run to shake out the cobwebs and all seems well. Off to Southend tuesday for work, so I got her running just in time, god it sounds thunderous
