Just saved £500 !

After a saga of problems with my Avo shocks I was about to give up and splash the cash on a set of Gaz but no way would i get them in time for our little trip to Scotland. So i dug out the old (original?) Koni's from the shed, springs off and wound up the adjustment a bit, slipped 'em on and oh boy what an improvement. No more squeaking rattling and clonking. A short blast around my local test track this evening and I'm well pleased, there are some good bits of road around here, some "clover leaf" type junctions and a nice string of small roundabouts, felt much smoother and less "lurchy" around all of them.
Only replaced them because I presumed at 20 odd years old they'd be a bit tired, how wrong was I, bring on those Highlands
