Have been promising my cousin to take her to one for years, anyone got idea which is closest and which is best? I do vaguely recap Woburn Abbey popping up, but I'm out of date thesedays!

I men the type that you drive your cars through the various enclosures as opposed to a glorified zoo!

Have you been? Any good?

Woburn is very good and less than an hour from the centre of town

Another vote for Woburn although its not in London. Whipsnade is marginally closer but not as good last time we went.

Woburn is great, go on a cooler day as the animals are a bit more active, and watch out for the monkeys! Little feckers had my wiper away!

looks like its Woburn then, considering she seems to have motion sickness and puked in my car last time, the monkeys are the least of my problems!

cheers!
