Wanted: MX5 hardtop

Does anyone know where i can get hold of a hardtop for a MK1 MX5 in the north east, i only have £250 to £300 to spend, maybe slightly more if needed. I'm not expecting the condition to be perfect for that price, and not fussed about colour, but classic red or black would be preferred. Thanks Ross

thanks, yeah i've just posted the same question in MX5 pistonheads forum now, also got an advert on the official owners club, but don't really want to travel more than 100 miles so thought i'd put an advert in the north east section on here, thanks for the reply.

Are Mk1 and Mk2 different? I have an Mk2 lid in my garden shed that I would be willing to part with. Came with a yr 2000 1.8 MX5
