TVR servicing in the North East

What options are there for servicing a TVR (Rover V8)in the North East? All thoughts appreciated.

Where in the northeast? It's a big region

Hexham HC, R&P Woods? in Heaton, Newcastle. Astonparts Blackhill, Consett. Falcon in the boro. SSCC in Boroughbridge. I'm sure there are others but people don't appear to be very forthcoming with suggestions

I would recommend Hexham Horseless Carriages for any TVR work.

What I can't do myself I get my local (good) mechanic to do.

Tired of 'specialists' miles away keeping my car for weeks and charging a fortune for basic work on what is a pretty basic engine and drive train.

For S6 engine cars I'd still consider one of the ex TVR dealers. For a Rover or Serp V8 you're better off finding a local reliable mechanic for mechanical type problems.
