Im off out tonight in birmingham to se paul van dyke at gatecrasher in birmingham, anyone able to recmomend some nice bars to visit beforehand?

The canal bit off Broad Street and around the Mailbox is ok.

Or maybe Digbeth might be jumping as its Fresher's time of year. Might be more GC than the Broad Street bar scene.

TBH I don't even know where GC Brum is.

Well, Broad Street was certainly interesting, and bloody busy! the Mail Box was nice too.

Paul Van Dyke, was very good set! Certainly wasnt impressed with the club though tbh. Bad layout, toilets where a 10 minute walk, and whilst I do seem to be getting old there where some seriously moronic people out!
