Car Spotting In Warwickshire.....
Discussion
Hi Everyone,
I live in Warwickshire and have become slightly bored of the cars around my local area. Supercars are a rarity in Warwickshire and you don't see many classics around either. The only places I know of are Graypaul Ferrari/Maserati, Rybrook McLaren/Rolls Royce and McGurk of Kineton. Does anyone know a place I can visit where I will see a good amount of supercars and classic cars? Thanks.....

What are the dates for this show? I can't find them on the website.....http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/show/news.asp?storyId...
...apart from Aston Martin, who have their factory in Warks. And JLR have their development centre there too, so you can often see disguised next generation cars from both companies leaving Gaydon...
...and the museum at Gaydon..
Still, if that isnt enough for you (sheesh) then pop over to Coiventry for the JD heritage museum, the Coventry road transport museum, or pop over to Leicesterhsire and hang around outside MIRA to see some very interetsing cars coming and going.

Thanks for all of your ideas. The best ideas at the moment are Aston Martin and the Performance Car Show. MIRA is a little too far away and you can't really be guaranteed to see anything. I've already been to the Heritage Motor Centre so that's not much good. Does anyone have any more ideas of things I could do which wouldn't cost much?
And a bit further on from Legends is Bob Houghton Ferrari in Northleach.

Then there's the Prodrive test track outside Warwick, and the local 'dealerships' as mentioned. And the Jag development centre at Whitley....and the museum at Gaydon..

In Leics there's MIRA and Ultima just a stone's throw from Coventry, think Noble are still Leics too, and Triumph (OK bikes, but nice ones) are in the area too.
If that's not enough then there's a handful of 'specialist' 2nd-hand dealers around. Warks will never be the Kings Road (for which we are all eternally grateful), but I think there's enough nice metal around.
As you say William - "sheesh"
