I stumbled upon a forum with photos from a POW camp. I have been looking for an excuse to get the photography gear out, so i am trying to find some more information about it.

All i know is that is was or is nicknamed "egypt"

Can anybody help.

Can't help, but as I used to live in a house that was built on the site of the old Norton barracks I think you can discount that suggestion wink

Worcestershire but west mids police signs,is a bit of a clue, I don't know the site, but I'll have a quick dig around for you.

579 Marlborough Farm Camp, Radway Extension, Kineton Warwickshire Eng Precise location not identified, NGR given for Marlborough Barracks, Marlborough Farm however was at SP 3751 5157.

May be interesting, although listed as warwickshire.

The borders change, and around the border areas you tend to get west mids, west mercia, warwickshire, and staffordshire police.

If it's Kineton there's a good chance it's still a big MOD base which means it's literally not on the map, although in which case he'd probably have got shot before he got the photos!
