cheap car wanted around midlands area

Hi, my mum had had a right nightmare with a garage that carried out shoddy work and now we are going to have to go to another garage and take the garage to court. Already 1.3k down she can't really afford a hire car.

The problem is my Mum is SANS car, and looking for a cheapy 300 - 450 banger to last a few months while the st is sorted out. If anyone has anything for sale please post, it would be appreciated. i am looking on the usual places just thought I would ask my Midlanders help.
