Spotted near Lutterworth with loads of stickers on the rear including, crucially, a PistonHeads smiley!

I was in my Lotus having just started a 25 Mile lap of what is known as 'The Luttering', some rather splendid roads in these parts, great fun smile

Guilty smile my misses is running it at the moment to Leicester so I should say she was actually driving.

Well I hope she enjoyed the roads, especially if she was heading from South Kilworth towards the A14 - scary! wink

So what's the 'luttering' then?? Fairly new to the area so still using main routes. Need to explore more of the countryside

There are quite a lot of decent roads all over south Leicestershire, just a pity half the village pubs have closed !

THE LUTTERING

It starts off with a dual-carriageway sprinkled with a few roundabouts to warm you up, followed by long bumpy tree-lined straight to test your top-end nerve...!
Next up is a rising & dipping section reminiscent of the Nordschleife before leading you into a single-track section which runs past Stanford Hall, it's a bit squeaky bum along here!
You then have to briefly double back on yourself before hitting a high speed flowing section which leads its way to Kimcote & then on towards Lutterworth.
All finished off with another rip along the dual-carriageway.

Myself & a mate (PH: TheBaj) put this together & I've done 11 laps in my Lotus, 2 in my MX5 plus 1 lap in a Cayman & Swift Sport. And also quite a few passenger laps as well!
I'm blowing my own trumpet here - but it's a mega loop of tarmac, with quite the variation of UK roads, well worth a visit or two!

Never heard of the luttering, but as I work at bruntingthorpe I can see myself taking a very long and scenic route home when the weather improves!
