Good restaurant close to M42

[V8LM]

I'm looking for a restaurant somewhere close to the M42 in the west midlands area (Tamworth, Sutton Coldfield, Solihull). Nice country pub with good food would be great, but don't want to stray too far off the route between Nottingham and Pershore).

Cock Inn at wishaw by the Belfry golf course or Perhaps Bluebell in Henley in Arden, both a few minutes off the 42 and good eateries.

Bit far of route, but I can recommend the Lord Nelson in Asley .

Do you mean the lord nelson in ansley?

Yes it is good for some 'pub grub' but certainly nothing spectacular!
