PHers in Worcester?
Discussion
I worked there for a couple of years, I commuted from the West mids.
Thai Gallery was really good, as was Monsoon. Saffrons was lovely but as there was usually a gang of us we didn't go there often. There is a Mexican up near Saffrons that was really good as well, it's opposite a lovely sandwich shop.
Pubs - we used to spend a lot of time in the Cardinals Hat (proper Austrian Beer and strong stuff!), The Marwood and the Swan with Two Nicks (mainly for whisky)

Worcester...nice City, safe night life. Cardinals Hat good call for a range of strong beer (very busy on the weekend but worth it), Massala Lounge, Bridge St for curry (nice people), Crown in Hallow (10 mins north of city) for good pub food, Cathedral Cafe for coffee and cake. Rear garden (riverside) of the Diglis House Hotel, Severn St for a pint if it's sunny. But lots more...

Cardinals hat is now closed I believe. Heroes above Thai gallery can be fun, the hand in glove on college st is nice as is the cellar bar (monroes) Marrs bar is ok for live music and as it happens my friends band is playing this coming Sunday.
What?!? No more cardinals? I used to go there every night after work with a couple of mates. The nights in there in the run up to my wedding were fairly lairy as Andrea brought out the schnapps... Once did a yard of one if the strong Austrian beers as well, that was hard work!!!Hand in glove had only recently opened when I was there and was nice, heroes was amusing midweek with the students, but has a couple of pool tables and did cocktails if I recall?

I'm afraid so http://www.worcesternews.co.uk/news/9780405.Last_o...I_m_off_on_a_new_adventure/ Its a shame as it was a friendly place and the beer was good. Never did a yard of ale but I did print the large photo on the wall for Andrea! Heroes has a pool table and a wide range of cocktails as well as a decent selection of unusual beers. Keystones is worth a look. Havent been in there for a while but it used to quite nice, sometimes have live music on as well. I've lived here since 1990, or 1991, I can't remember.
We could do a Worcs PH meetup for a giggle I suppose.
I've never bothered with the Worcester pubs or clubs I'm afraid, my wife is a Worcester girl, (a dreaded "tolly bird" so I've later come to learn), but we started a family soon after settling here.
I've only ever bothered with the "country pubs" around here, of which there are many very nice ones.

Southwest PH'ers meet for breakfast at the AV8 cafe at Kemble airfield on the last sunday of each month. Its a great drive from Worcester via Broadway, up Fish Hill and along the Fosse and there is usually a good collection of cars. (I am based near Broadway)
You are also handy for the Hilclimb venues at Shelsley Walsh and Prescott, although you will probably have to wait until the spring for events at either now. Le Vie en Bleu at Prescott is really good, plenty of vintage Bugatti's et along with some Veyrons and other interestinng cars.
