One of my mates is running today - he's lost over 6 stone this year and is running for Diabetes UK.

Good luck to you all!

Was a great day-really enjoyed it.Managed to finish it in 2 hours 13 minutes, which,as it was my first time,I was very happy with.
Hadn't run any distance at all, several months ago,so happy days!
I have since heard that someone died whilst on the run-I don't know the circumstances though-very sad...

first time here too, managed it in 2:05. my training consisted of 2 no 3 miles runs so it was a bit of an unknown once out of town. the climbs towards the end were horrible.

great day, the amount of support out there was fantastic. terrible news about the death, haven't heard anymore about it other than just crossed finish line, aged about 30 and looked in good health beforehand.

20th October 2013?
