Early morning hoon around Derbyshire Saturday 8th June

I've just got a new car and decided it deserves a spirited run around some of Derbyshires wonderful roads. If you live in the area you'll know that the roads get clogged with tourists this time of year so I thought I'd take advantage of the good weather forecast this weekend and the bright mornings and get out whilst most people are still in their beds.

I have a nice circular route which takes around 2hours starting and finishing near Matlock and will be setting off at around 6 am. If any one would like to join me you would be welcome.

For obvious reasons I won't be posting the route but reply to this post or pm me and I'll let you have details.

I'd have loved to have joined you, as all I seem to be doing nowadays in my car is driving to work, but I'm working a night shift so wouldn't finish until 7am.

Maybe next time, I know it's an early start but the last time I did this run was a Sunday and the whole worlds grandad seemed to be out.

Is it the C63 thats the new motor? I'd not have a hope in hell of keeping up with that! I went in one earlier in the week. Simply amazing machines.

Yes it is fking hell it's quick, had a DB9 before which i bought was nippy but this is immense. Hence the need to try it on quiet roads

Your Clio's got a brilliant chassis though so what it lacks in power (relatively speaking - 182bhp is pretty good!) it makes up in agility so should hold its own on the twistys.
