I'm moving into a flat in 2 weeks, and will be in urgent need of a washer/dryer and a fridge/freezer. The only issue is, money is alittle tight at the moment, so looking for something refurbed/secondhand (12 month warranty is a must as they always seem to have issues).

Can anyone recommend an good appliance store that would fulfil my needs around the Birmingham area?

Not sure if advertising is allowed, if not, a pm would me much appreciated.

Thanks.

IF it's not too far, might be worth giving the bloke startng the following thread and ask if the appliance shop nearby is still open . New stuff, but keen prices

Your best bet may be to search through Gumtree as there is always hundreds of cookers, fridges, etc on it.
