Enjoyable Drives around Midlands

Hi everyone new to the forum and fairly new to the Midlands (Derbyshire), can anyone point me to the best enjoyable routes / fun roads around here - (Nottingham/Derbyshire) Thank you

Lots through the Peak district - Snakes Pass, Cat and Fiddle etc. Also, you're fairly central so West coast and North Wales and back should be doable in a day (it is for me from Coventry).

OP, watch out for one of my posts for a Sunday Brekkie run to the Peaks. I'm south of Derby, though I've been "exploring" around the area for a while both on Sunday mornings & whilst driving for work
