I'm planing to go.

Not sure if the midlands boys are up for it yet. They seem to be thinking along other lines.

I'll prob' look to get camping tickets for Houx through the club. Then book other bits through ACO.

You can book it all through the car club. Ticket booking forms come out in sprint near the end of the year. Book early thou.

Last year I wanted grandstand seats at Dunlop, as TVRCC do not offer Dunlop I booked direct with the ACO. Very easy & efficeint to eal with via email.
Don't bother with the TVRCC coach tickets as bus runs from entrance to town and back regularly and at a fraction of the cost. Very cossy thou!!!

Already sorted tickets Andy, or going through TVRCC when it comes out in Jan?

planning on going this year with some friends and organising it my self, last time was with bentley in 2003 and they organised it all.

do you just book camping on the Lemans website when the tickets come out, or are the tickets separate to the camping?

which is the best campsite to book?

when do the tickets become available?

any other useful info?

cheers Custard

I'm a Le mans virgin too hoping to make the journey next year. I too would be interested in the answers to the above questions, and would love to tag along with the TVR boys if possible?

I'm not sure of when to book either, I know some have done so already but it seems waay too early to be seriously planning THAT far ahead?

Right alan, as you know my Dad doesn't trust the Cerb' travelling to Le-mans.
so we think we may be goin in the Van, and volunteering to carry various things for everyone like spares/tents and other things.
Not 100% that we will go, but me and my dad are eager to go, but have been told that it's not the same without your car!

No-one has answered yet, so here's my 2p...

There are many ways to book - booking direct through the ACO is one... however, if you are a TVRCC member, the easiest way is to apply through the TVRCC when the booking form comes out early in 2007. This covers camping, general entry, grandstands and bus transfers to the drivers parade in the city.

Each to their own. Houx is generally regarded as the most 'civilised' with marked pitches and reasonable facilities, but a 10 min walk from the trackside. Houx annex is a bit further out and more random. Maison Blanche right trackside and is for the hardcore party animals - a zoo from Wednesday on!
all IMHO of course!

custardkid said:

form is usually in Sprint in Jan/Feb - once the allocation to TVRCC is confirmed by ACO.

Dates are 16/17 June 07 - best to get the leave request form in (at home and work ) for at least Tues-Monday around those dates!

Hope this helps!
