had quite abit of interest in this and thought some of you guys might be interested.
the plan is to meet up on the first sunday of every month at the tesco carpark at macclesfield, then go on a set route each time which will allow people to get used too the route and learn the roads. finishing point will be the cat and fiddle pub. should have time todo the run twice each time at it should only take about an hour todo
at the end of the day we can head into buxton for a chill and a few drinks then head our seperate ways.
if your interested then add your name, the car you drive aswell as where you will be coming from onto the list below. this will enable us to see the variety of cars coming aswell as arranging mini convoys down to the meeting point.

just too let you guys know this will still be going ahead on the 4th of march.
i had a little accident the other day so am trying to get my car sorted but am planning on having a test run a week on sunday to finalise the route if any one fancys tagging along.
could do with getting some convoys organised down to the meet point.
from wht i can see weve got one from chesterfield, one from stoke area and one from manchester area.
ill organise the chesterfield one. meet up at the tesco in chesterfield near where all the recycle bins. we can then fuel up and check our tyre pressures before we set off. meet at 10 for a 10:15 set off.
if some of the other guys can organise one for your local area and try and sort a nice route down so its not too boring that would be great.

Cant quite see the point of a run on one of the most policed roads in Britain, especially now the thread has links to videos of your previous runs where speed and double white lines mean nothing?
We all put our foot down but showing videos of it to generate interest on this website will generate the wrong type of interest.

i go up there ALOT and have only seen 2 police cars with over a year of driving over that road several times a week in some cases. we wont be just driving the cat as there are some great roads around the area.

We ought to have a look at a route put together by someone here a couple of years ago.
Can't rememeber who it was, but I've got a tulip diagram of the route he emailed to me. Couldn't make that one, but it was a good run. From Adlington/Prestbury over to the Hope Valley and on from there.

the main meet point is maccelsfield tesco at 11 so might be best to head straight there. there a few meeting in chesterfield to convoy down and hopefully some from manchaester area and some from stoke area.
