PH Warwickshire & West Mids Breakfast Run Sunday 4th March
Discussion
I have agreed to host this as I have a rough plan in mind.
Location is to to be Gaydon/Southam/Banbury area, time will depend on how early folk are prepared to get up and what time breakfast will be served.
While I check out the route and brekkie times, please let me know if you are interested here.

Ideally we should aim to finish our run before the roads and the Breakfast Diner (which opens at 9am) get busy. A lap of the route should be about an hour.
Are people prepared to meet early to make the most of clear roads?
Also can you indicate if you are actually going to have breakfast at the diner, they won't be very happy if we clog up their car park and only buy a couple of bacon sandwiches!

I'll have to pass then - won't be home until gone midnight, so chances of me being up early are slim to none!
Will keep an eye on the thread and may turn up later on...

Sorry to hear that Martin, I guess you'll have a head like a hole sunday morning!
Let us know if you change your mind.

Easy - drag yourself out of bed and get a COLD shower. It will do the trick

Yes - if I try and get up I'll probably 'wish' I didn't. Of course if someone invents 'the perfect drug' then I could get out of bed OK...

Thanks Obes. We will try to get around all the midlands meets at some point but we are just finding our feet as a region at the moment.
I used to work in Northampton and therefore keep an eye on your forum. You are always welcome to come over to us anytime too.
Roll on the light nights!
Ok Guys, Southam Stig has tested the route for me which is 40 miles and takes around 50 mins in normal traffic conditions.
We therefore need to meet at 8am sharp for a 8-10am departure. Don't be late - we won't be there!
The meeting point is Budgens Car Park in Southam which doesn't have any CCTV unlike the town centre car parks. The route will be kept secret until the day so we don't advertise to
Please confirm your attendance and brekkie here if you haven't already.
