Roof racks!

Hi all,

I need to take a set of ladders "down south" for two consecutive weekends in March, and have just frightened myself at the cost of buying a rook rack!

I can't see as I will ever need one again after these weekends..... so does anyone know anywhere you can hire them cheaply, or does anyone have something I could borrow for a couple of weekends?!

I am based in Derby, but work in Nottingham

It would need to fit a 99 Focus hatchback

They do hire stuff out.

I've bought several sets of bars and a roof box from him over the years and he has always been very helpful and offered good advice.

I have some spare bars (Thule) and mounts for for a Sierra Sapphire (unlikely to be much use ...) and VX Senator/Omega but I somehow doubt that the mounts would be much use on a focus. The VXs had rain gutters at the edge of the roof and the supports sat in those with the brackets fitting outside the gutter and into the top of the door aperture.

The bars are universal - but it's the mounting brackets that cost.

Had a thought - rather than take ladders to "dan sath" --why not investigate cost of hiring ladders "dan sath"
