hello

its that time again, karting, 9th March

100 laps, twin engined pro karts, hog roast afterwards.

last time was a great success, as both participants and spectators will tell you, we had a full house and the competition was heated to say the least.

this time we have 18 karts, i think there is only about 4 karts left, but if you want to join the fun just add your name below.

we have a few guest drivers joining us again too, but due to the terms of non disclosure i cant name them untill the night (ahh ok im joking, but im not telling you)

minimum 2 per kart, max 4 (I think) 100 laps, top 3 places get a trophy.

last time people brought thier friends and family to cheer them on, others just came to whatch me crash every 10 seconds, again, everyone is welcome but if you dont race, please make sure you bring some money for the hog roast (its seperate from the karting, Karls already paid for the pig for us so we need to make sure he aint paying for everyone, its only fair)

as I say, i think we need 4 karts for the 18, might be able to get more karts depending on interest.

what sort of price are we looking at then, £140 + vat per team? oh and does the race start at 6 or do we meet at 6?

meet at 6, aim for 6:30 for the practice run.

last time we started practice at 7:20 .. .. .. .. ..

its about 135 per kart, then the cash for the hog roast, which was a tenner last time.

last time we had teams ranging from 1 to 4 people, I dont think id be fit enough to do a full 100 laps on my own!

I was knackered after last time!

I think we have a few stray drivers that can team up with you and Ballistic and make it a 3 man team if Paul is Happy with that? you should go well with 2 experienced Karters....

Kewl, i'm looking forward to pirouetting at the first hairpin again and letting my side down. Better call our team 'Spoox Motorsport' as two of the guys work in a garage, and it's better than anything I can think of just now. No pig is a bit of a let down, I quite like a good bit of trotter. Whats the stuff in the cafe like? la-di-da grub or just greasey beer grub? Not that i'm picky when i'm hungry.
