I have managed to get some work experience at this event and was just wondering if anyone else is heading up for the day. Racing on the day includes Caterhams, Hot Hatches, Kits, Locosts, Saxmax (junior saloon cars) and RGB which are bike engined racers. Sounds like some close racing, good action and broad variety on the track. I will be wandering around observing behind the scenes and hopefully looking closely at some of the cars and of course the racing.

Anyone interested? thumbup

Hi there. I will be going to this event in my SPYDER SILVERSTONE kit car along with a friend of mine in his Westie. We were at the 750MC event at Mallory last week and will be going to as many RGB events as possible.
We jointly own a Fireblade engined FURY which we do trackdays in and we are currently building a Blade engined PHOENIX using the bodywork from Tim Gray's RGB Class C championship winner wrapped around his spare 2005 chassis. Should be fun.
The FURY is phenomenally quick, the PHOENIX should be even quicker.
See you at Donington. Geoff.

Might try and make it as it's a free day with the DPRAC
Depends if I'm up to much walking by then.

I have come up against a few financial problems, I have an LHM fluid leak and need a replacement accumulator, and a #2 service schedule needs doing, plus I may have to change insurers to get cover with the nitrous. So it's on the back burner for a while. I hope to have it done for Pistonfest though.

Alright mate long time no speak. I am getting there at 6.45am (no really yikes) and racing on track starts at 9.00am. There are plenty of races so I am sure it'll be on most of the day. I will mainly be in pits and behind the scenes but should be able to pop out and have a word thumbup

I'm definately coming to this, meeting up with a freind i've not seen for ages, he races in the 750 club. I've got your mobile numbers, so I will ring you when i'm there. Don't go looking for BG, I will be in an Audi RS6 Avant Le Mans Edition, black with anthracite alloys and heavy tints (Now that is what you call a courtesy car, BG is in for fettling).

I'll be there racing in the SRGTC race in my D-type replica, no. 81. I just hope I can stay on the track for more than one lap this time out.

That gives me something to cheer on, as well as Geoff in his Spyder. I will drop by the paddock and say Hi, but wont linger or get in your way.

A bit different to the blue or BRG ones. There are a couple of genuine Ds that were painted yellow.

It's not that bright really...........

I'll be taking a trip out to this. Ben does it cost much dough? Can you get me in for free?

I'm only going in the vein attempt for a ride in Warrens RS6. Is the thing limited to 155mph?
