Hi,

Already posted this in the north east section so thought I would try the midlands as well.

everybody we need your cars for an amazing racing game coming out on the xbox 360.Do you want to hear your car in a game and get on the credits list. Basically we need to record engine sounds. We do have a list of the type of cars we are looking for, but we do not want to narrow our chances of finding cars,we want a big variety of sounds from big to normal, from petrol to diesel. tech info:
Option 1
We need to capture your car at rev ranges from 1-7 or 1-6 (depending on the car). You will have to hold your car at each rev for 15-20 secs. The engine will need to be under stress for use to get the best sounds, one option is to take the car up a step hill and hold all the rev ranges in first gear. ONLY IF YOUR CAR IS GOOD ENOUGH TO TAKE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
Option 2
You take your car to a rolling road in warwickshire where we record the car
Both options we give you £50 for your trouble and pay for all petrol there and back, or with option 1 we pay for petrol costs for driving.
This is your chances to get your car in massive xbox360 game and maybe even in the film. We are Midway games based in the Newcastle area. Cheers. Richard

Any dates in mind?
Got 2 Griffs (a 500 and a 4.3 Big Valve) and live in Brum.
The north east is a bit far as I suspect it'll be midweek.

They won't rev to 7k but will be plenty loud enough at 4.5 - 5k.

Got a Cobra, Smart & 205 Gti. Suspect the Cobra might be the best option. Am always up in the Midlands visiting my folks so Warks is really close.

I'd love to take part. I've got a VW Corrado VR6 with a Ram Air induction kit and Magnex stainless steel exhaust fitted. It gets lots of appreciative comments. Its biggest fan - aside from myself - drives an Aston Martin DB9 Zagato thumbup Rev range is 1,000 to 6,000. I've hit the rev limiter a couple of times so I'm sure one more time won't hurt. I'm happy to do the rolling road option as I'm not too far from Warwickshire. I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't be able to hit 6,000 revs in fourth or fifth legally on the roads. I've only managed that at Bruntingthorpe.

Saab c900 T16 with decatted 3" exhaust? live in the warwickshire area as well so would be fairly easy. not 100% sure it will hold 6k rpm though - 5500 no problem, 6k.... hmmmm.
