Belper Steam & Vintage event, this weekend.
Discussion
Anyone going to this?

It's a good wander about for a few hours, have a pint or two, sniff the traction engines, a fair selection of classic cars, all the usual tat, steam organs etc.
I might go Saturday afternoon or sometime on Sunday, who wants to join me?
BTW, it's not actually at Belper anymore, it's now at Duffield just off the main A6 through the town.

Have been searching for a steam fair all week, and this never came up for me. However, went to Country fair at keddlestone hall instead which was quite good.
Was full of farmers basically. They had a guy doing a ferrett demo (I know, hold back the excitement), who was definately not in favour of a hunting ban. He's al miked up, and basically went on a tirade against poofter liberals who weren't in favour of hunting or eating meat. At one point he actually said that in olde worlde englysh the word "vegetarian" meant "bad-hunter", and he meant it too!
