Convoying in Nottinghamshire issue

All I will say is just watch out for yourselves if you are in convoy, it could be used against you if they felt like it.

So, all traffic that happens to be on the same road, and going in the same direction, is in convoy. All the bib need to do is go out on any bit of road and nick everyone then

I thought any convoy of more then 8 vehicles was required to notify the local BiB's anyway. Is this right and if so why bother issuing an order to reduce it to 5?

The coppers will be busy on the A453 then....Always a convoy on that road !!

It's nonsense in certain circumstances. They would have to prove you deliberately set out to be in a convoy in the first place. So you all leave a venue at a similar time with 'other mop' cars in between you and they pull off at junctions leaving you in a convoy? They'd have to prove it was deliberate, organised and you knew each other otherwise it would be accidental or coincidence.

It's those feckers at Nottingham City Council flexing their muscles again. One of the reasons why I left Nttm and won't shop/park there ever again. Feckwits.
