A46 police hiding places
Discussion
Where along the A46 have you seen marked or unmarked police cars "hiding"?
A few places I've seen are:
A46/A1 roundabout at Newark. Waiting in an area before the petrol station facing the "Lincoln" way.
Around the bridges over the A46 between Newark and Lincoln.
Skellingthorpe roundabout.
Layby after Riseholme (A46/A15) roundabout, Grimsby direction.
Layby and side roads just after A46/A15(Lincoln Road) roundabout, Grimsby/Nettleham direction.
Anybody know where else we need to keep an eye out?

What about the M69?
Been known to take my eye off the speedo on that bit of road...
Be carefull on M69, thats my daily route to/from work and have seen several unmarked Vaux Vectra's, one is a 53 plate (Green) and one a 54 (dark blue I think), recognised by the blue strobes in grill and on font bumper sides where SRI vents are! Mainly northbound carriageway!Been known to take my eye off the speedo on that bit of road...

Top tip!Thanks!

the long straight just after the turn off for norton disney there is a cafe with a robin reliant outside, before that there is a parking bay about 50mtrs up the road (mabe more) seen the white van with the dome cameras on top of it sitting there a few times.
same van is also parked up rather dangerously just before the next roundabout along and they have police bikes waiting in the road next to the petrol station, not sure what the van does though, thought it might be ANPR rather than scamera van

Used to see the van from Warwickshire on the bridge on the B4114 , couple of miles Coventry side of J1 M69( Near Burton Hastings) a few times couple of years ago - think cameras were "enforcing " B4114. Ain't seen it there for some time.Been known to take my eye off the speedo on that bit of road...

me and my neighbour both drive from Doddington park in Lincoln along the A46 to Newark every day (in seperate cars i might ad) and there is often a red Skoda unmark coppa so keep any eye out.
the van that parks heading towards lincoln at the end round about near pennels garden centre is for untaxed cars although i have seen the od speed camera van anywhere between newark and lincoln.
i just watch out for any car with more than one person in it, they seem to travel in pairs....i guess to stop them getting bored or incase they get lost :-D
if you're going to speed keep your eyes peeled a mile ahead, a mile behind for anything suspicious.
