Picked my new car up yesterday after work smile A day earlier than i should have done. Just a disappointment with the weather and the traffic today, though i now see the benefits in an Auto 'box!!

Car is fab and i'm so pleased with it, you can drive it in two completely different ways - either full on hooning style or just cruising along! I really think the next car i have will have an ///M badge on the back!!

Pics to follow as soon as i work out how to get them off my phone and onto the computer!!

Always good to have a new toy - you sound really happy!

Glad you have realised that slush boxes have benefits - I'm a great believer that, in anything but a car for "tracking", if you have more than a couple of hundred horses a slush box is the way to go (but perhaps I'm just lazy...)

Brum brum - lovely exhaust note the 330Ci. Enjoy it. I found mine amazing round corners in the wet (with the DSC on!) - almost defied physics. Tad heavy on the rear tyres - esp if Pirelli (about 8000 miles if you hoof it).

Cars OK although not getting driven much due to the mess at home.

House is now stripped out and is drying. Its going to be a long hall, but you know what they say.....what dont kill you makes you stronger!

Paul,

Sorry to hear that you got flooded out. I didn't get down to East Mill vicinity to have a look when the waters were high. I saw on the news that the Talbot cellars got flooded, but didnt realise that some houses got hit too. Presumably you are down near wotsits kitchen shop? Did River Gardens get flooded too?

It may be a bit late now, but if you need any help with the clear up, let me know. Pair of hands waiting to help.

All the best.

Warren.
