Bentley Drivers Club, Silverstone, August 4th.
Discussion
The Bentley Drivers Club annual race day at Silverstone will be free entry this year. It is on Saturday August the 4th. This is a really nice race meet. All sorts of Vintage & Classic cars, not just Bentley, though there will be hundreds of those. Phantom Motor Cars are entering two Turbo R race cars this year, so I will be going along to cheer Simon & Stuart of Phantom. There will also be Vintage and various other types of Bentley racing too, as well as Morgans, Astons etc, and some barking mad Specials.
If anyone fancys going, let me know, we can meet up or convoy down if you want.

Bump!
This is next Saturday. I will be leaving at 9.00am for a 10.30am arrival.
I plan to mooch about the pits, will probably see a few Bentley chums, then there is the Bentley parade, all Bentleys in attendance can do three laps of the circuit, hundreds of them is an impressive sight. I will need to bum a ride for that as BG won't be there, i'm going down in the Furby. Bentley Motors will be there with a display, so if you want to drool over a GTC or an Arnage T, now's your chance, you might even blag a demo run.
Then the racing, usually 10 or 12 races. Watching the Napier Bentley and Old Mother Gun battle it out with the three wheeled Morgans is usually a terrific spectacle.
This will not be a packed out event, go where you want, sit where you want.
No takers then?
