Reccomendations for a biulder in the coventry area

apologies for the second invasion in as many weeks, but the better half is looking to get a wall knocked through in her house to extend the kitchen.
Having read woeful tales of pikey's loft extension I was rather hoping someone here might be able to pass on some recommendations.

So, anyone used a decent builder in recent months/years in the midlands that I can pass onto her?

Yep...we've been looking for a good builder around Cov for over 12 months...and less than half have actually bothered to turn-up to even look at what we'd like doing. Then half of them never bothered sending quotes. Then one quote was about 100% more than I thought it should cost, so he was obviously having a Jimmy. And another couple of lads seemed pretty dodgy and the quote could have been drawn-up better by a 5 y.o.

We've finally had one decent-seeming guy come round, but he's on hols now for a fortnight, so will have to wait to see if he's interested and how much he wants.


It's a nightmare...

Diamond construction were excellent!

Did our rear extension for us, and added an up-stairs window for us at our old house.

No idea on the details, but look it up in the yellow pages and i'm sure you'll find it....
