Following on from the Shrewsbury meet, as always its difficult to please everyone.

I propose:

When: A MONTHLY MEETING ON THE SECOND MONDAY OF EVERY MONTH
Where: THE LAST INN, NEWPORT, SHROPSHIRE - http://www.multimap.com/maps/#t=l&map=52.75654...
Time: 7.30pm onwards

Season: March > October

First meeting: MONDAY 10TH SEPTEMBER

Should be there. I know what a pain it is trying to arrange a meet - The Prof and I were only attendees at last Staffs, after the first one drew a good crowd.

First meet sounds promising then 4+ people so far. Keep adding your names, lets get a good turnout.

Hi am new on here and always looking for an excuse for taking my motors for a spin so if its ok i will pop along to this meet as its only a few miles away for me

Jenko - look forward to seeing you there

Do you live near Gnosall/Haughton area I have seen a Spider and a Cobra a few times on my travels I may have passed you (if you were in the Cobra) on the A518 telford road.

Hi v6ter i live near Eccleshall but my work is at Norbury and yes i travel frequently between Gnosall and Stafford in either car but mainly use the 519, you wont be seeing the Cobra anymore, i sold it yesterdayfrown now looking for something elsebiggrin

Even though I can't make the first meet (see above), Herself & I sampled the food at The Last Inn a couple of weeks ago and it was pretty agreeable yum

The ale was well kept.

And I mentioned to one of the owners to keep an eye out for some tasty kit in the car park on the 10th bounce

Looking forward to the first meet, I was thinking if everyone can make it how about half hour earlier start time - 7.00pm.

Depressingly the nights are drawing in, and this will give us an hour of daylight (hopefully)
