Basically I've got too many cars, the logical thing to do is to store my 205 GTi track car somewhere else as it's the one that's used the least. Thing is it's on a trailer so might not fit in a standard garage. Would anyone know of a garage or storage area near Shrewsbury I could hire to keep the thing? I don't mind if it's outdoors as long as it's relatively secure.

Many thanks.

i know the feeling, too many toys an dnot enough room! I dont know of anywhere to be honest, but maybe contact estaet agents as they will probably know of farmers that have storage available (cheaper than garages etc). cheaper still, ask around for local farmers directly, bottle of scotch payment and all that ;-)
there are a few places that store caravans/motorhomes under cover that may well take the car on the trailer too. there was one welshppol way iirc. speak to Salop Caravans and see where they recommend.
cheers

Hi Chris, I've been on the waiting list for the local housing association for a garage for months but not being a tenant I suppose I'm not a high priority. Estate agents have been no luck as yet, some have taken my details and will get in touch if something comes up but I'm not holding my breath. I'm going to try putting some cards in some newsagents windows to see if maybe someone may have a garage/driveway but no car and may fancy a small income. Failing that we have a disused yard at work. Not sure how secure it is as there's nothing in there to be nicked at the moment, but railway land seems to attract more than it's fair share of crime and trespassers for some reason.

Picking up car number 4 tomorrow so will have to put one on the front lawn for at least the time being frown
