Shelsley Walsh 6th & 7th October
Discussion
The final two rounds of the British Hillclimb Championship take place at Shelsley this week-end.
Going into the meeting Martin Groves has a slender two point lead but does have an advantage over close rival Scott Moran due to only dropping one 8 point score whilst Scott has to drop scores in both rounds.
Practice is on Saturday with the all important timed runs starting on Sunday morning at 10:00.

Hope some of you lot made it to Shelsley; for those who didn't you missed a treat!
There were some absolutely wonderful cars tackling the hill:
Ex Hillclimb Champion Martin Bolsover was at the wheel of a McLaren M6 GT;
The two ex-Basil Davenport GN Spiders;
Donald Day in the ERA R14B;
Simon Taylor in the Stovebolt Special;
Tony Marsh in his 4-w-d Marsh Special;
Roger Deans in the ground-shaking Lola F5000;
George Tatham in the massive 7.6 litre McLaren M12C;
Ken Sims in the awesome Metro 6R4;
Keith Edwards in the Audi Quattro Sport;
Grame Wight Junior in the V10 Predator;
plus all the usual suspects in the Goulds.

I'm just down the road (just off Jct 6 M5) and I'm kicking myself for not going.. I WILL make it to both Prescott and Shelsley next year!
As soon as I have the dates of all the meetings I'll post them hear along with the Loton Park dates (that's up near Shrewsbury).They usually get a lot of interesting cars at most Shelsley meetings but Sunday was the 60th Anniversary of the british Hillclimb Championship so was extra special.
