I recently sent Balmoral Green an email which met no reply and have seen a couple of changes within his profile which ultimately resulted in the man himself vanishing leaving only a traffic cone and a blank canvass on his once prolific profile

anyone any idea where he is, more importantly, how he is??????????????

From the last known reports heard second hand in darkened pubs from grizzly old, drunk, sheep farmers, a figure has been seen lurking in the grounds of Balmoral castle, sporting a fine growth of beard, wearing camouflage clothing in brown and green, taking food wherever it has been left unattended, growling at unwary passers-by and flinching away from all signs of modern technology, where once bright lights attracted it to shiny new objects previously known as 'gadgets'. While rarely seen now in the open during the day, this creature is believed to be known as a 'Warben', but can be lured into company by the presence of large quantities of beer and warm pies, while adjusting to the light with its bloodshot eyes.

So, a normal saturday morning in the BG household then.

Or maybe he just wants a bit of time out without people discussing him?

If you're genuinely concerned Scott it may be best to email someone off-line who knows Warren and his reasons.

I have had a couple of E Mails from Warren, this week and he is fine.
He would probably, at a guess, prefer people not to worry too much!
He's fine.
Which is good to know.
biggrin

Blimey! What's going on 'ere then? Feel the love hehe

I did reply to your e-mail Scott, it must have got lost, I just re-sent it for you again anyway.

No great mystery folks, i've just decided to pull back from PH for a while. Someone gave me a damn good kicking on here a few weeks back, and so i'm having a good long...

rofl

Seriously all, i'm fine, and thanks for the concern. Also thanks to those who've have been mailing me too, much appreciated.

BTW, I have pulled out of BT&P and the Yorkshire Christmas do for mainly financial reasons, purely coincidental. I can't keep going on jollys that cost £250 here, £150 there, month in, month out etc. So just reeling in the spending that's all.

And, er, ahem, John has his heart problems, and Micheal has his bottom trouble too, so please direct any excess sympathy in their direction, thanks.

I'm still 'ere.

I'm not having any problems on here, got loads of good freinds on PH. But one poster reckoned that I didn't contribute anthing positive to the site, was always critical of anyone and everyone, or taking the piss, or being sarcastic and nasty, following people about and hi-jacking their threads, not very welcoming to newbies etc. That was the jist of it anyway, although he did use a lot of abusive language too, to make his point, which kinky had to moderate out.

The bad language I didn't mind, i've been called a ing spastic and a ing cretin and a ing retarded and a tt before now, but it did underpin how strongly he thought somewhat, and I was a bit stunned that anyone could see me in that light on PH. If that is how one poster sees me, then how many more are there that share that view? It's made me think about how I come across on PH and how I present myself on here. Time for a rest I reckon.

I can understand you taking a break from t'internet mate, but as you've already pointed out:

You have a lot of friends and allies on Pistonheads that have met you in person, travelled with you and sipped a good single malt while sharing lifes tales in low light and its those people that will stand by you!

I am proud to call myself one of them

I honestly cannot grasp the idea that any other person on PH will see you in the same light as the person you've had run ins with

The sad fact is though that with PH being as large and as varied as it is, we're always bound to come accross some prats and people we dont get on with...god knows, Ive come accross a couple

Hopefully you and yours are keeping well

It would be fantastic if you could make it to the party in November old chap, I know Cooky and myself would be proud to share a pint with you yes

Read the posts from the 'guy' concerned and it's fairly apparent that he's little more than an over-agitated, argumentative, individual, who needs to collect his toys and get them back in the pram, pronto.
Make Denby, Warren! :-)
