Anyone know of a good Chinese buffet in Birmingham centre? Ideally on Broad street but anywheres good.

Many thanks.

Theres going to be plenty just down the road in the chinese quarter...

You might get lucky and find one on broad street but it will be very expensive!!

The best ones in the area are the wing wah restaurants. Theres one just outside the city centre in neachells and one just off J2 of the M5 in oldbury.

Plenty in the Arcadian - the Chinese Quarter (and bordering the gay quarter too) - be careful not to wander too far past the Hippodrome wink

Nothing on Broad Street like that - there are places to eat, but not buffets.

If you want a good, cheap curry, go to the one above the Brasshouse biggrin

there is a wicked one near digbeth, 7£, you can park the car on pavement right outside and only chinese people go inside, its nice and very friendly and even car mags inside u can read

alternatively on back of broad street there is a one for 7£

why not the 'big wok' for £5 is you are poor? place reminds me of a school canteen though

There's 2 good Chinese buffets in Brum, but both outside the city centre

Buffet Island in Erdington but I prefer Modern China in Stockland Green

At the end of the day, same as everything you pays your money, you takes your choice

But as much as you like for a fiver and fairly tasty. After more than a few beers and with a big group, you don't tend to notice the canteen nature. 'Tis a good description though.
