Ok,
I have a brand new, rarer than hens teeth, still in box, with original wrapping, fixings, glue, template and instructions whaletail for my saab c900T. It doesn't need any reconditioning i just want it painted in plain old black (if there is such a thing as plain old black!) so i can fit it to my car. Now bear in mind that it needs no real prep work, doesn't need stripping apart or any repairing done to it - what sort of price seems reasonable to you? And does anyone have any recommendations as to where i can get this done?

Thanks,
Graeme

He's sick!

I'll text you a number for a friend of mine in Coventry. Black is dead easy to paint but harder to lacquer to a high standard as it shows all th imperfections.

I know how - thats the prob. I realise how little work it would really be and baulk at the prices being quoted.

My first degree was in car design and we used the spraybooth to paint our scale models. If i had access still i'd do it again - but i went to uni in Newcastle and live in cov now. ho hum

heres one i did earlier!!

Duncan - tried your reccomendation but didn't get a chance to speak to the people you suggested. However they weren't very forthcoming for the work to the spoiler. I think i have found a place in Coventry that will do i though - nice cheap cash deal. Wil let you know how it goes.

Too late lads - i pick it up this afternoon. Not sure how good it wil be but we'll see. If its a poor job the price was cheap enough for me to be happt to take it to one of your reccomendations and get it done again.

P.S. Matt - TV is working a treat. Just sorting out a PS2 and GT4 to hook up to it now!
